If you are a citizen of one of the following countries, then you will be able to apply for an ESTA visa under the American visa waiver program. While there are a number of requirements that go alongside an ESTA application, the entire process is generally much easier and far more straight forward when it comes to applying for an ESTA Visa.
What Countries Qualify For The Visa Waiver Program?
There are 38 countries that currently qualify for the Visa Waiver Program. These include:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
What If I Don’t Qualify?
If your ESTA application is rejected, or you are not a citizen of one of the countries listed above, then you will need to head to a US Embassy or Consulate in order to obtain a B-1 or B-2 travel visa, dependant on your travel requirements.
